Originally from Wisconsin, Andy Ross started his comedy career in Chicago, where he performed stand up throughout the city's alt-comedy scene and graduated from the Writing Program at the Second City. He wrote for several shows, including The Demon Who Never Appeared, a monthly variety show at the Playground Theater, and Flocked, an independent sitcom pilot shot in Chicago.

In New York, Andy has written for The Onion News Network and contributed to Comedy Central's Indecision Forever blog. He wrote and produced a one man show, Melancomedy, at the Peoples Improv Theater. You can see a clip here. He regularly performs at The Moth storySLAMS and runs a monthly storytelling show called Real Characters at Ochi's Lounge under Comix Comedy Club.
